The 46 articles that were nominated  for the 2013 Omenn Prize are listed below.  The $5000 prize, sponsored by The Foundation for Evolution, Medicine, & Public Health, is made possible by a donation from Gilbert Omenn. Nominations closed on February 28, but the prize may be offered again next year.  The winner will be announced in April on the Foundation’s webpage and here at The Evolution, and Medicine Review.

doi do not work for most of these??check corrected and re-send

    • The Editors says:

Thanks. We tried to correct the hidden suffix that made the links fail but it is a quirk of sharethis. A workaround is posted in the first line of the doi column

  2. Paul Turke says:

My article, “Making Young From Old: How Is Sex Designed To Help?” was inadvertently left off the list of 46. I have been assured that it is nevertheless being considered for the award. It can be found in “Evolutionary Biology” volume 40, number 4. DOI 10.1007/s11692-013-9236-5

  3. The Editors says:

Thanks for pointing out this omission. The paper is now listed with the rest. The problem occurred because an email apparently did not get autoforwarded properly, but the article is now under consideration with the others. We have also checked to ensure that this did not occur for any other articles.
