Paul Turner is the incoming President of the International Society for Evolution, Medicine, and Public Health. Did you ever wonder how he got interested in biology? You can find out in a new interview just published in Current Biology.

Just to whet your interest, he was so into zoos as a kid that he used crayons to make his own guide to the Philadelphia zoo. His life goal was to discover the Loch Ness monster. Not achieved yet!
